No Sound in SIMS 4

Try updating your sound drivers

If your sound was working fine outside of The Sims 4, it shouldn't be an issue with sound drivers but rather the application picking up the device.

I dont understand how to do that. please provide a step by step, I have the same problem

@fixxicat I don't think you have the same issue as the person in this topic. The solution seems very specific.

My problem is exactly the same, but I don't know what you mean by "quad".

If you go to your game options in the game: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/CAS4Audi🤭ptions.jpg

You should see quad as option under Speaker setup.

this forum is little old but im having the same issue... the sound on my computer is working fine, its just when playing this game. I've tried setting it as quad, but still no joy ☹️

Anything else i could try???
