Sims 4- download problem

Hey,

I received a physical copy of The Sims 4 for Christmas. I used VirtualBox to open windows on my mac, and managed to get the game to start downloading to Origin, but as the download was very slow, I cancelled it and restarted the download on a friend's Windows laptop. This time, I managed to start copying the game (still using Origin) but this failed, so I had to start downloading the game again. 13 hours later, the download was 75% complete. I left the house for a few hours, expecting the download to be done by the time I came back. When I came back, the download had gone down to 63%? I've been trying to sort out the game for a very long time, and it's getting very frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated.
