Re: [CD] [CHEAT] CAS-Spayed petd going into heat

@xochiquetzl_xkvn Yes please. Test on vanilla on a cat that's not in heat. Since the cat was already in heat, it could still be mod related

Also try if it happens on a cat that wasn't edited with the cheat as that can also be a factor.

Fair enough; I did wonder because TBH I don't know how that buff works, heh, I'm not a dev or a modder. I've loaded up my dedicated vanilla save and have started the PlantSim scenario, but with two cats (CAS-spayed and control/natural) added after the scenario started, so we'll see.

@xochiquetzl_xkvn I just did this with a cat. I forgot to set her as fixed in the CAS and then she went into heat. I set her as fixed while she was in heat and she kept doing the yowling and hearts even though she was listed as fixed. I ended up just making her a male cat.

@PoptartJuniper  It might be related to going back into CAS to set them as spayed. I don’t know if the cat in the initial post was in heat or not when I did it because I did it from manage worlds. When the first cat in the rotation had kittens (thank you MCCC I appreciate it 😉) I went into manage worlds in full edit mode and spayed and neutered them all.

I've been playing for almost a Sim week in my vanilla test save and am all but the perfect plant in the PlantSim scenario, and the "control" cat has gone into heat twice but the one I spayed in CAS hasn't yet.

I'll try that; going back into CAS.fulleditmode and setting the "control" cat as spayed...

(What I usually do is un-spay them in CAS and take them to the vet; that works.)

<possibly unhelpful>Man, I miss AllCheats. This animation  is really confusing when you’re watching for a cat to maybe go into heat. There are no “what’s wrong?” options and their user icons are white for fine. I took them to Whiskerman’s Wharf and checked the encourage to mate with option, but it was grayed out with a message that they’re both spayed. Ladies, what are you on about? I want to see their queue so bad…

Also, so far I have yet to see what I’m complaining about, but the cat can’t find her litter box two build squares behind her. 🤦‍♀️ With AllCheats I can direct her to her litter box myself…</possibly unhelpful>

    [Edit]

Okay, guys.  It's absolutely the CAS.fulleditmode cheat.

I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to calling it mod-related. We finished the Freelance Botanist aspiration, our bird friends gave us a golden treat and our golden chicken is upgrading all our plants so we'll be harvesting a perfect plant tomorrow and finishing the PlantSim scenario, and I was like, "Yep, no, this cat is NOT going into heat..."

And then I saw a heart out of the corner of my eye, and...

This is the cat that was spayed using CAS.fulleditmode. I named the cat created as spayed in CAS "Cassie" and the other cat Connie, thinking she was going to be the "control" cat, but no, she's the experiment cat because Cassie hasn't gone into heat once, and Connie is the one I made changes to....

Seriously, if I take her to Whiskerman's Wharf when she's not in heat (when they were doing the yowling thing I took video of above) "encourage to mate with" is greyed out with a message that she's spayed.

    And yet...
