Okay, I may have found a solution.
With the Sim residing in the lot without electricity I went on vacation (to Granite Falls but I think it's indifferent) for about five days, or at least long enough to receive the bill for the main house.
I admit that during the game I forgot to pay the bill, and after the first 24 hours, I first received a message that I had another 24 hours to pay the bill, but right after that I received another one saying that the Landgraab power company had already turned off the power.
All this while I was on vacation.
Once I got home (the next day), I noticed that the electricity in the lot was there, and it seems to still be there, but before I sing victory I will continue to play with the same Sim for a few more days, making them move often (this current Sim of mine runs a store, so I am "forced" to travel outside their home on a daily basis).

I hope this can help someone.

EDIT: Nope, it didn't work. Again without power for the same reason after days and days from that bloody message.
The only solution is to move the Sim into another lot.
