@crinrictHello,yes it is the random event that can happen at night when all your Sims of the Active Household are sleeping (in my case mostly happens in San Myshuno). Please note that in the game there are Vampires (both played and not played) that do not have Tamed Thirst, such as Caleb Vatore. The choice for the random vampire event should pick any that has not Tamed Thirst, if any.

I've noticed since the HSY patch or so any time I invite my vampire who has Tamed Thirst, Guilty Drinker, and the Regained Humanity trait from completing the Good Vampire aspiration over, he attacks and bites people as an NPC. Since I'm a rotational player, I know for a fact that he has Tamed Thirst (which is supposed to prevent this behavior) and plasma packs in his inventory, so I am unamused.

I don't know if you want to keep this separate from the vampire invasion event; I've only seen Vlad do that in my save. This is inviting him to a party or wedding. Every time I do, he attacks the other guests.
