[FIXED] [SD] Massages not counted toward Self Care aspiration

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.79.93.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, Strangerville, Parenthood, Realm of Magic, Journey to Batuu, Paranormal, Perfect Patio, Cool Kitchen, Spooky, Kids Room, Backyard, Bowling Night, Fitness, Toddler, My First Pet, Moschino, Tiny Living, Cottage Living, Dream Home Decorator, Nifty Knitting, Country Kitchen, Throwback Fit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim who is attempting Spa Day's Self Care aspiration and give massages either on a table or chairs.
What happens when the bug occurs? Massages do not count toward completing the Spa Regular goal.
What do you expect to see? Massages from table or chair count toward completing the Spa Regular goal.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I'm pretty sure this is related to the Spa Day refresh which includes the new Wellness aspiration, Self Care Specialist.

In my game, massages are the only actions that do not count toward completing the Spa Regular goal.  The actions that do count are manicures / pedicures, yoga classes and guided meditations.

  • Massages correctly count towards the Become a Spa Regular goal in the Self-Care Specialist aspiration.

  • When I looked into this, it seems like the loot action to give the person tending the massage chair progress towards "Become a Spa Regular" isn't present for hand and foot massasges, but it is there for manicures and pedicures. I don't know if this is an oversight and it wasn't added to the hand and foot massages by mistake, or there's some other place where they tried to add it, but it just fails?

For massage tables, I think the issue is slightly different because I do see them try to add in the loot action in all of the super interactions to start massages - but I don't think it works because the massage tables use "SavedActor1" as a target reference for the sim tending the massage table, but the default loot action for incrementing the spa regular goal is expecting "TargetSim" instead.

If anyone playing on PC/Mac and is ok with using mods, I have made a mod for this issue that works by adding in the missing loot actions to give your sim tending the massage chair or table credit towards the aspiration goal. You can find a link to my mod site in the Common Game Fixing Mods post. It's called "Wellness Aspiration Fixes".

Hi I installed your mod (it is the only one I have in game currently) and it helped with both the Hustle and Become a Spa Regular but I still don't get the last one for Regular customer. I just gave Thorne Bailey 12 treatments on the massage table in a spa over a cpl of days and I had given him as many in days before this too and I still don't get the  Maintain a Regular Customer to finish.

@Vildra  you can only give one treatment that counts per day per customer - once they get a treatment, that customer gets a cooldown timer that lasts for 18 hours. You should try giving them a treatment every day for ten days and they will only count from the moment after you installed the mod - it won't track previous treatments.

Thanks. The mod doesn't track the treatments for me though. Or doesn't it start counting them until I reach 3 or more?

@Vildra just keep playing until it completes. Unfortunately, this is not a mod support thread and also it's for a different bug - this bug thread is for the "Become a Spa Regular" where your sim takes over a spa and does 20 treatments.
