How would you like us to share the OneDrive link to an affected and unmodded save? It doesn't appear I can direct message the link to you.
My main sim family is affected by this. I started the family on console. The problem seemed to begin with the toddler update while I was playing on console. Shortly after the toddler update I bought a PC. I uploaded the family to the gallery, downloaded the family to my PC, started a "fresh save" in a new neighborhood, and even the new save seemed to be affected.
My sim has level 10 mischief and used to be a great prankster. Now every mischief interaction fails.
I've noticed that in the new save/fresh neighborhood, sims I have never played before seem to have the option to try mischief interactions that are higher than their skill level should allow. One example being sims with no mischief skill level have the option to "Slap 'em Silly in the interaction menu. It doesn't seem to matter which sim I play as, I don't seem to be able to perform a successful mischief interaction any more.
Would love to find a solution to this. I miss being able to walk up to random sims I've only just met, Slapping 'em Silly and sharing a good laugh over how funny it was that they just got slapped and building a nice friendship over it.

can’t believe this issue has been outstanding so long! There’s scenarios available to play based on mischief trait yet it doesn’t work properly?
I picked up Seasons in the Summer Sale. When I saw "Prank Day" on the calendar, my thought was, "Hmmm, this isn't going to go well."
It is getting very tiresome trying to babysit my Sim to try and prevent it from doing a mischief action and undoing the friendship level.
With a game as expansive as this, I am not surprised that there are glitches and issues. However, when a whole interaction category is broken, I would expect that issue to be on the fast-track. There are achievements, challenges, and in-game events tied to Mischief, so it can impact new players and new games.
Please, fix this...
