I'm having this same issue now. Broken computer, no repair option, still can adopt a horse though. Using a breakable computer.
I noticed someone mentioned their sims live in an apartment. My sims live on the Old Salthouse lot in San Myshuno too. Is anyone else having this issue happen in other worlds? Might be a San Myshuno issue.
Hi I literally just had this issue too. I can still adopt a horse though? It is so weird. It won't let me replace the pc either it's the mid tier bg one, but I tried another pc and when it broke, it's the low end bg one, it was able to be replaced but still couldn't be repaired. Which is odd because I repaired it a few days ago irl. That was before I moved the family to a new lot though, could that be the issue? I am in the T world, Tomarang? Oh and tested with no mods, recent game version 1.107 etc.
I have a played household in Tartosa and im having the same issue :/

I have just had this issue for the first time. I have Lovestruck and the latest patch installed, and no mods/CC. I can send my save file, but I can't find any option to send you a private message.
Edit: I since found the part of the site which lets you send a private message and I have submitted my save file. For further information, I have most packs, including most recently Lovestruck, and I have the newest patch (1.108.329.1020). The computer in question is the "standard portable computer" and I am on the lot "caminito del deseo".
