Had sim drink moodlet solver while outside at 4 pm with clear skies and nothing, may even reset with fear of the dark moodlet again to 4 hours ???
tried to drink a Fear-be-gone and told “ need to have fear to drink this potion. “
so if it’s not a fear or a moodlet, what is it?
The trait being there is important to solve the issue. I posted this method a while ago and it's still working for me up until a couple of weeks ago when I had to use it again. I do see posts that say that they aren't even able to equip the trait with the cheat command, which hasn't happened to me yet but i guess it's just another glitch that just makes this even worse. I'm on console with just base game so i don't know if it has anything to do with that or using things like mccc on PC. Regardless it's worth a try step by step at least a couple of times, as long as you are able to equip the trait on the sim with the command. The root of the glitch and the way you know you have it is that they will get the moodlet regardless of time of day, they just get it from being 'outside'. Re-equipping the trait while you don't have the moodlet seems to be a trigger to make that reset so you have a chance that it will work correctly but it may take more than one try.
