[MFPSP] Rodent never gets hungry, can't fill food bowl, but its empty

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy a hamster/rat/hedgehog cage/home. And look at the options when you hover over the enclosure/home of the pet, the option to fill food bowl is greyed out, you can't click on it, but it says pets bowl is full, or pet already has food or something to that effect. But look into the enclosure/home of the pet and you can see the food bowl is empty.
What happens when the bug occurs? No ability to fill food bowl of hamster/rat/hedgehog. But the bowl is empty. Pet never gets hungry or needs food.
What do you expect to see? To be able to click on and fill food bowl, and to hover over the pet enclosure and see that it is hungry from time to time, and then be able to feed/fill food bowl of Hamster/rat/hedgehog.s
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

  I've deleted in build mode a hamster enclosure, and a hedgehog enclosure because of this issue, hoping that buying a new one would fix the problem, but it didn't.  I placed the enclosure without bb.moveobjects on and I made sure it was not clipping into a wall.  I moved enclosure over a grid, Issue persisted.  This ruins the experience of having a hamster/hedgehog/rat.  I tried power cycling my console, this did not fix the issue.
