I am also having this issue when household is in a rental. I can transfer funds to business, but the household funds do not change. I can transfer funds out of the business but the household funds do not change.
When the active household is not in a rental - it works as it should.

I can duplicate the issue that the household funds stay the same if you buy a business with a tenent.
I haven't tested property owners. Does that also not work ?
I can't duplicate the first report that was about not being able to enter a number so I split this thread in two and moved to bugs

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Almost all packs minus warewolves, batuu, and paranormal
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? own or live on a rental property and own a business and try transferring funds..
What happens when the bug occurs? no money gets transferred.. it transfers to the venue if that be vets or restaurant, but will not transfer from the business venue to a rental residential lot
What do you expect to see? The money I have earned transfer instead of just disappearing and not being transferred.. if I want to transfer 5k it will remove it from the business venue, but is then just gone, does not get transferred to the sims household funds..
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Well yea, I have mods, but others playing with no mods have the same error, its not a mods problem, but an EA problem.. Just put someone in charge of finding the code error of it not transferring money from the business venues to the rental residential household funds.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? After rental game pack and updates, I bought the pack, as I buy most packs.. only 3 I have not.. I could pull the mods out and try it without mods, but it will not make a difference as you have others who without mods have the same issue..
Thanks so much for listening and hopefully this will help you track down and fix this bug.. its not the end of the world, but if you are a business owner, its frustrating to not get your money into your household funds after having worked hard for them and watch them go down the rabbit hole to nowhere, whatever you went to transfer just disappears.. thanks EA.. love the game.. but please fix this bug..
