Re: [FIXED] [GRO] Teens change appearance (Related to loose tooth)

@MoonlitexAngel I'm experimenting a bit. I saved before aging up my child, so I've been going back, freezing aging and saving each day and trying again to see if maybe after a certain amount of days it will work.  It looks almost like the child's face on a teen's body.

Edit: After some testing, it doesn't seem to matter how long I wait after pulling the tooth. In CAS, I aged my child to a teen and the incorrect scaling of his facial features appear. I placed the same family that I started off with and aged his infant self to a teen and it was how he was supposed to look. So somewhere along the line, the appearance of my sim changed and it is frustrating as that means I am going to have to personally change his features to as close to the original look since it got screwed up in my save.

Edit 2: I went through all my saves (ones I made before the update/pack and ones made after the update/pack). I went into CAS and aged up the infants and toddlers to teens and their appearances were normal. So I'm thinking that this is related to the tooth bug, unless there is something else that I'm missing.

@DracuAlice2017 I'd definitely say it's related. The little brother just got his first missing tooth and it happened to him too.

I checked his face in CAS after the moodlet popped up and he was fine, then I had him pull the tooth and fix the gap (just in case it caused any extra issues, but the other two I didn't fix the gap with) and now how face is all squished.

I'm gonna hafta see if using mods to delete the moodlet messes up their face cuz if not I'm just not dealing with any loose teeth till this gets fixed. It would be too much work to try and fix every kid I play with and I know I won't get it the exact same and that'll bug me lol

I just experiences this bug for the first time tonight.

I first heard about this on twitter with sims that age up with a loose tooth or with the buff still active. As a precaution, I installed the recommended modded fix. And after an in day game with the modded fix in, my sim experiences a loose tooth. She fully lost it and got money from the tooth fairy, but then someone on twitter brought the shrunken genetics glitch to my attention by saying my sim's nose looked smaller. Low and behond she was afflicted with the bug!

I was only able to fix it by using mccc to paste her appearance from a tray copy of her I have saved to my library from before she lost a tooth. I tried adding a copy of her to the family and copy and pasting from that sim and it fixed it, but as soon as she aged up she had shrunken genetics all over again. You have to paste from the tray or it won't work. Attached before and afters of my sim so you can see how she changed. I have aging off so this happened without her having a birthday.

@MoonlitexAngel Ah. Well, I'm happy with playing just infants or teens until this gets fixed. Tbh, I don't play with child Sims much.

Edit: I suppose I could also just switch between households for a few days to avoid getting the moodlet. It seems to be like body hair growth and happen after you sleep (from what I've observed, though I could be wrong).

@DracuAlice2017 Yeah I like playing children so I may just use cheats and avoid them sleeping. It'll suck not being able to 3x through the night but I'd rather have that than get Grinch looking kids all the time.

I also think the more teeth they lose the more their appearance changes cuz I found a copy of the older brother that it had happened to and his eyes had even gotten tinier and some other changes. Like he used to look a lot like his dad and now even with his nose and mouth fixed he looks half asian.
