This issue seems to be something that affects most facial hair. I play A LOT with male Sims and since I got HSY I’ve noticed that beard growth is scattershot all around. I’m currently playing a household with a male Sim rocking a goatee, and weeks after starting his face is just as he was when he first left CAS.
Methinks some beards, mustaches and goatees are considered Final Stage of Growth, despite them looking rather tame and manicured if you saw them IRL. Moreover, it seems that if you pick from a category, there will be no hair growth outside that category — e.g., if you pick from the Mustaches category, your Sim won’t ever grow a beard. I have to test this… maybe pucking from All Will “solve” it?
