Columns change the height on the platform

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Steam-PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Русский язык
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.91.205.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All EP, Spa Day, Dine Out, Parenthood, Vampires, Jungle Adventure, Realm of Magic, DHD, My Wedding Stories, Werewolves, Perfect Patio Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Moschino Stuff, Tiny Living Stuff, Nifty Knitting Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, Vintage Glamour, Paranormal, Bust the Dust, Country Kitchen Kit, Cortyard Oasis Kit, Incheon Arrival, Blooming Rooms Kit, Decor to the Max, Little Campers Kit, Moonlight Chic Kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a lot using several platforms with different height level. Platforms should be connected to each other. Put a column so the half of column would be on one platform level and the secod half would be on another platform level. The bottom of column will be placced on the lowest platform level. Upload the lot to the gallery. Then download the lot from the gallery.
What happens when the bug occurs? column bottom is placed on the highest platform level. the half of column is hang.
What do you expect to see? column bottom placing is not changing after i upload\download it from the Gallery.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I tested this and found the same thing you did.  If you save the lot to your Library (or Gallery), then the base of the columns will relocate to the top of the platform rather than remain where they were originally placed.  I did find that after placing the lot, you can get them back to how they were originally place by moving them.  See the attached pic.

I'm not sure if this is bug or just another quirk of the build system but I have to agree with you.  The column bases should not move just because you save the lot to your LIbrary or to the Gallery.  They should remain in the location they were originally placed.

    Hope this helps.

  • @bearyMaggie I've been having the same issue basically since platforms were added. I discovered recently after either an update or a repair, all my columns jumped to the top platform height on my builds already placed in game. So adjusting after downloading a build from the gallery or library doesn't entirely fix the issue.
