Only way to restore the bottom buildings without mods is by creating a new save file, it sucks ☹️
- crinrict2 years agoHero+Has anyone tried if the disabling pack, saving without pack, then re-enabling gets rid of the bug ?
It does have the disadvantage that you loose all clothing, jobs, whatever from the pack and need to re-add everything but it's better than starting over ?
Do keep backups. @crinrict I just did this!!!!! IT WORKED! I thought my entire save was a goner (I've been using this same save for over 5 years), but after reading your suggestion on disabling the pack, saving without the pack, then re-enabling the pack, the stargaze lounge lot returned to its original glory! The stargaze lounge lot in city living bugged for me after wanting to place a renovated version of the lounge from the gallery. Thank you for suggesting this.
edit: also, after the lot came back after re-enabling the pack, I was able to drop in the renovated version i found on the gallery and it placed onto the lot with no issues.
i dont have the rent pack but the problem is still there. but this might work as workaround for those who have the newest pack. thanks for the suggestion!
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@wtfjade I shouldn't matter if you have for rent or not. You need to disable City Living (or Brichester if you have issues with dorms).
hi @bthbvrl4hbql this post by @crinrict should be able to help you with the floating builds.
- exome51352 years agoSeasoned Scout@crinrict How do you disable a pack?
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@exome5135 It's the same workaround as this: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2022/06/world-appears-twice-on-world-map/
