I'll move my sims soon onto another lot in the same neighborhood and I'll see.

@Sozki  Maybe also make sure the entire household is asleep at midnight? Not sure about the gnomes, but the opposite trait, the gremlins that break things, only applies if no one’s awake on the lot at midnight.

@PipMenaceCould horses that are awake at night cause gnomes not to work? Haven't had an opportunity to test yet on a new lot (nothing's broken yet), but I did (and do) have horses that might have been awake during nights.
