Oh man guys, don't laugh at me but I reformatted my mac mini backup machine and spent more than 24 hours letting sims reinstall.  Then started a fresh game while I worked on all my saves.  I was just sitting here and realized the doors were working normally!!  I had put her in a rental, right?  Well I thought I did so I am over here freaking out b/c how awesome it was to be in a rental with doors normal.

Don't get too excited, I was wrong!  Dang it.  That one house (the mint green one) is apparently not a rental.  It did renew my excitement to get this stupid annoying play interfering bug fixed and can't help but wonder what WE (the players who are so bothered by this) can do to HELP EA fix this.  If you have ideas, post them here.  Meanwhile, maybe rentals should just go away altogether.  I wish you had a purchase option for apartments too.
