@karaetify Did you have the skill before you leveled up ? Try leveling the skill down with the skill cheat and then back up.

My sim had level 6 before joining the Florist career. Then she joined on level 6 in the career thanks to the university degree. I level up to skill 7 after and it didn't check off.
I tried to join the career with already having level 7 of flover arranging and it also didn't work, the skill didn't have the golden check mark.
Weird cause my sim already had level 7 of Gardening and as soon as I joined the career the gardening did check off.
@karaetify It's not a general issue but sometimes for tasks it just doesn't check of properly if you already had the level but since you were only at 6 and then leveled up, it usually should work.
I would try cheating anyways to see if it makes a different. Set it to back to 1 and then level back up to 7 (with cheat)
