everyTime I try to work on my sims Skills they get skills I didn't tell them to like I am working on the charisma skill and my sims will also get the selvadoradian culture skill

- @gammerkitten123 For all Sims ? There are some things that can give you two skills so this is when you use the seance table ?
oh is that new I was using mirror ? also i get like 3 skill will come at a time like I have no control over them anymore
- @gammerkitten123 Ah now I get where the seance is coming from. You probably wanted to put since and auto-correct knew better. That totally confused me :D
It's mostly for kids that they changed stuff but there were always interactions that influenced multiple skills.
Charisma and Salvadorian culture sounds a bit off though, especially if your not in that world.
Could you post some combinations you're getting ? it's pretty much anything and it's random like even if my sim douse nothing they will get a new skill no warning
- @gammerkitten123 That does sound odd. Do you still have any mods/cc in your game ?
no I took them out for the update
- @gammerkitten123 Could you test a fresh save to see if you have the same issue there ? I haven't really had time to play since the patch so maybe someone else has seen similar.
Already did that I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game ?
what is a folder rename ?
Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by clicking on the dots in EA app.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
oh do you men tacking out you old save's ? I did that
- @gammerkitten123 Creating a new folder, try if it happens on a new save , then just put back your save and check if it's still an issue and if not, start putting back your other stuff.

ya that why I came here to see if anyone else has this I tried to reported it to ea so just letting everyone know It's a wicked bug

- @crinrict Same here. Teen sim doing school homework - getting Charisma, doing selfie while in Confident mood - getting Salvadorian Culture. Also there's a chance to get Video Gaming while sleeping. And when it comes to servos, well... There's a total mess, it gets a whole bunch (about 15-20) random skills when doing it's first system upgrade
