@DJGeoRob I checked your save game
I'm getting a items removed message on every lot I load which is odd since you said you didn't touch Chestnut Ridge 64x64.
Other than that, they load fine for me. I see none of the symptoms from the other issue. Tested Chestnut Ridge, Willow Creek and City Living. Will try Windenburg.
Since your save is huge though, how much RAM do you have ?EDIT: Yeah, the windenburg lots crash.
EDIT EDIT: I believe it is the same issue. If I move the family in the windenburg lot out with all the furniture, the lot becomes fine. Unfortunately you can't even bulldoze the lot without it crashing so it's a bit hard to troubleshoot further.

Oh that's weird, I only entered Chestnut Ridge when I was checking all 64x64 lots.
I just upgraded my RAM to 16GB before Christmas. But even on 8GB RAM i could play on 64x64 lots just fine. Got For Rent just after New Year's. 😁
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@DJGeoRob 16 should be fine. It went up to 6 GB RAM usage for me when loading those lots.
Can you try the following:
1. Delete all crash log files you have
2. Load Chestnut Ridge and save the resulting Crash log to a different location
3. Load a windenburg lot and save that crash log as well.
4. Create a rar file out of both and upload them. - DJGeoRob2 years agoNew Scout
Hey!
So, I loaded the Windenburg Isle lot and, true enough it crashed.
I tried the Chestnut Ridge through build mode and suddenly it worked fine.
I tried the 64x64 on Brindleton Bay and I was able to get in but took me forever to get out that I had to force-restart the game. Same happened with the one in Del Sol Valley (where I moved Judith Ward to). I was just surprised to not find any Crash report after these two, maybe because of the force-restart?
Anyways I sent to you the link to the Crash Report on Windenburg.

@DJGeoRob Thanks. I'll do some more testing on your save game with the Brindelton Bay and Del Sol Valley lots.
I was mainly concerned for the CR and CL lots that you didn't change and wanted to compare the crash reports but if those work fine now, it might have been just connected to the other crashes.EDIT: Moved this to the new game issues forum.

Hey!
Sorry, because of life issues I wasn't able to play Sims for almost two months now, has there been any update on this? I couldn't follow anymoreThanks.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@DJGeoRob Apologies for not following up.
I do believe that it's related to the linked bug. I got endless loading on the Brindleton Bay lot, Del sol Valley loaded fine for me. No crashing for either. - DJGeoRob2 years agoNew Scout
No no no problem at all! I haven't been playing that much recently cos life has been getting in the way... I did login today and tried again but still got the same issue (Windenburg Isle lot)
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@DJGeoRob Yeah, the Windenburg one was the one that was crashing for me too.
Since so many lots are affected, I would just put this save aside until EA fixes the issue. - DJGeoRob2 years agoNew Scout
Ok cool thank you so much!!
I'll just put a note to not touch the Windenburg Isle lot
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@DJGeoRob I've merged your post with the bug report as it very much looks like the same issue.
- Skeeter555552 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@crinrict When are they going to fix this awful issue? It's been 6 months already!?

- Please use tagging me sparsely. I do this in my free time so it's best only to do it when I requested information from you or you feel you have been misunderstood. I do NOT work for EA and hence don't have any information when or if something will be fixed. Please don't ask me

- LittleWOSS2 years agoNew ScoutI discovered the problem after a lot of trial and error and starting from scratch! The gallery is full of corrupted lots and somehow, when we corrupt one of our saves, we corrupt them all!
Solution: Delete The Sims 4 folder from your PC documents to automatically start a new game.
I couldn't find a solution to restore old saves.
Don't download batches from the gallery! In principle, it will only be the lots after the RENT launch.
If you have a save where you know which lots are corrupted, you can restore the game!
I tested and the problem was always the gallery lots!
If you start downloading batches, your game will end up with worlds with a white screen, unlimited loading screens, the game will crash, among many other bugs.
I'm very sad because I'm terrible at building houses! And he was making a world full of gallery lots.
This also explains why most The Sims 4 YouTubers don't have these bugs, because most of them build their own houses!
I hope I helped for anyone who wants to at least continue playing!
-------------------------------------------------
