Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Loading the game with a ghost in the household.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have a ghost child who was from the Romantic Garden wishing well and who had a death of laughter. When I loaded in to the game, I went to CAS and could edit them through the new updates and the death was still there. The sim still appeared as a ghost in the family preview. When I load into the household to play, the sim is no longer dead and lacks a milestone for their death by laughter. When I load from their to CAS, the sim acts as a regular sim. I closed the game without saving, reloaded, and the sim was a ghost from the household family preview. I loaded into the house and the sim was again marked as alive. Every time I load into the house to play when starting fresh, the sim acts as a living sim despite having existed prior as a ghost.
What do you expect to see? The ghost sim should appear as a ghost, since they are dead and have not been resurrected.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The 10/22/24 patch was downloaded before this bug.
I do not have a script mod installed and was not using any CC clothes on the sim. The only CC I have downloaded are decor items, which are not present in the lot I loaded in this issue. The sim does not have a gravestone since they were generated from the Romantic Garden wishing well and has a Death by Laughter. Attached are the images that show that she was dead and now is not without resurrection. I have not saved my progress so when I reload the sim is still a ghost. I noticed in CAS when starting a new household, Death by Laughter is not an option for child sims.
