Re: [ARCHIVED] Sims eye shape changed

I finally just updated my game from the Lovestruck patches, thinking most of the major things were probably fixed, went in to make some small adjustments in makeup, lashes, hair, etc...and I noticed my Sim faces looking slightly different. I couldn't tell why at first, some seemed to have changed jaws, some puffier cheeks, but definitely noticed the eyes changing. I brought one household into CAS and noticed a huge difference in my Vampire's eyes. I had a backup of him in the gallery so I downloaded it right into the same household so I could compare, and the eye shape and eye makeup was different. As I switched back and forth to look at them, the backup Sim suddenly changed too! His eyes changed shape and moved closer together. 

So yeah, CAS is very unstable right now. I have over 200 played Sims in my game and this completely renders my game unplayable. Are you kidding me with this?! I'm just glad I'm on top of backing up my saves. I was considering getting the Lovestruck pack but now...no way. I never bought For Rent either. These EPS and patches are destroying player games. EA, please get it together! Your game is spiraling downward at a fast trajectory and it's completely ridiculous. How are you letting this happen? 😠

    @LiELF Yep, this is pretty bad. I sure hope they get all of these eye issues (eyelids not closing, eye shape bug, and lighter eye preset eyelashes) all fixed before they release their new Life and Death expansion pack because I can't play the game in its current state either which means there is no point in purchasing anything more for TS4 if these three issues don't get fixed.

    However, I would like to note that EA Cade did say that both this bug (eye shape bug) and the eyelids not closing bug are under their radar, so maybe we just need to wait a little longer to see what's going to happen. At least we know the DEVs are aware of these eye issues. It's still frustrating and worrisome though since none of the eye bugs were mentioned in the recent laundry list.

    I also hope that the now lighter eye preset eyelashes are under the DEV's radar as well because this also affects the appearance of the sims in a negative way.

    Everything posted in this bug reports forum gets tracked by the devs 🙂

    they don't post often but they read everything, and this forum is how they know what's highest priority for laundry list/bug fixes

    @mightyspritesims Well, that's good to hear. However, I think it would be a good thing if they did a little more communication. The silence and being left in the dark really just brings the feeling that these bugs aren't even being noticed or are just being ignored. Like up until EA Cade mentioned that this bug was under the radar, I was questioning whether this bug has even been looked at or noticed by the DEVs or if it was going to be discarded like the other tons of bugs from the past that have not been fixed. More communication from the DEVs on these bugs would definitely be helpful as well as reassuring.

    Well, it's extremely disappointing not to see any of the current eye issues that are breaking the game for us storytellers addressed in this recent update. However, it is nice to see some performance updates and the long list of other bug fixes. I sure hope we can see these eye issues resolved in some kind of a patch before the next expansion.

    I just want to take step back from my current frustrations on these eye bugs and thank @EA_Cade for at least letting us know that the eyelids closing and the eye shape bug are at least under the DEVs radar. I hope these eye bugs will be resolved soon though. I do miss progressing on my story.

    Also, I would like to mention again that the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug is still not flagged as open. It is also a critical eye issue like the eye shape bug and the eyelids not closing bug.

    I miss This So much 

    because this is supposed to be like that! Without Bugs!

    I wish This will be Fixed after the July 23 Update 
    this is going to my memories that no issues of my sims eyes

    This is so sad! It’s been months already since July 23, I miss these so much 😢

    We want EA to Fix all these Bugs so, everything will be normal again just like Before the update 

    I am going to Cry, I just want EA to Fix these! I hate that happens in few months now

    Please!!! Fix it! 

    I hate the buggy eyes! 😔

    @crinrict Are we using the other topic (the one after the most recent update) for all eyelid issues including this one and the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes?

    @rjssim Not that I know but it's very hard to keep stuff to the correct thread if they are similar. I'm not reading established bugs unless they interest me.

    Please contact a CM if you need something moved around.
