How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? newest one
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all except journey to batuu and the only kits I have are storybook nursery, desert lux and blooming rooms
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim make a wish on the wishing well and "wait" for it to be "granted".
What happens when the bug occurs? The light on the well will flash. ie black, red, white, etc. But that's it nothing else happens; for example my sim wished for romance and got the black cloud and then nothing.
What do you expect to see? I expect when I use the wishing well that when a wish is grant, for good or ill to actually work; so when my sims wished for romance and the black cloud happened it should have conjured a ghost to join the family with a romance bar for my sim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch with the ghost update.
The odd thing is, the wishing well works for donation, and for wishes that don't require anything so the ones that'll give you the flirty phrase or the money phrase those work, but that's it.
