Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Discuss Preening Methods with a chicken that has low hygiene.
What happens when the bug occurs? The chicken's hygiene is not boosted.
What do you expect to see? Chicken hygiene should be boosted.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

The "Discuss Preening Methods" interaction on dirty chickens is meant to make them enter a state where they do a preening animation which boosts their hygiene a bit. Instead, it does apparently nothing. The chicken never enters the new state.
