same issue here, i played yesterday after i updated the game and i could see the menu normally until the game broke. game went black, the bottom panel was still there and working, i could see that my sims were still doing things by looking at it, but i couldn't see them at all, i tried opening the menu to save the game but since the pop-up shows in the part of the screen that was all black i couldn't see it, i had to force close the game from the windows admin. today i open the game again, now the options menu to save is completely gone no matter how many times i try to click on the three dots it won't show. build mode panel is gone too and i can't go back to live mode either, that worked yesterday as well but doesn't now. in live mode i couldn't open adult sims inventories even though i could yesterday, child sims achievements menu would flash broken, that was broken yesterday too.
