I'm really relieved, but I'm so afraid that the next patch will break something again. I hope the EA team will be careful!
If there is no way to make the eyeslashes work with how the eyes looked before this update, it really is best to just get rid of them. To be honest and not to be rude, they don't look that good anyways. The CC eyelashes present far better results. The eyelashes that came with that update just look bulky and out of place. We need to go back to what the eyes looked like for the last 10 years since the launch of TS4.

I'm quite sure that all simmers would like their sims' eyes to look like what they used to look like before the eyelashes update. I hope you don't work on changing the eyes to still work with the new eyelashes, but instead the other way around, making the eyelashes work with what the eyes used to look like. If you change the eyes to not look like what they looked like before the change, you'll just end up getting another bug report on the eyes looking different and you'll have to redo the eyes again.
Absolutely! These were exactly my thoughts when I read the news.

I just read the laundry list, and the eyeshape, eyelids not closing, the lighter preset eye eyelashes bugs are mentioned in it. This is becoming extremely concerning. All of these bugs are game breakers for us storytellers because we can no longer take screenshots. I am unable to play the since these issues arrived.
This is because they still don’t know what to do to solve the problem. We won’t have a fix with the next patch. I am pretty sure it will take months to find a solution.

Can't make any because when fix finally comes, it would mess up the new sims eyes we create..😟
I just bought a gaming computer a month ago & every dlc, (finally), just to not be able to do anything..❤️🩹🥺😞
I read through the list and sadly didn't see anything pertaining to the Sims' eyes. But considering how big the list is, and for Base Game alone, hopefully they'll pick up on it the next time around. They addressed the roof lighting issues, where the ceiling had an outdoor lighting effect despite being a closed off room in this list, so again, if enough people can "Me Too" this issue, hopefully they'll catch onto it.
It's a bummer though, I've had so many great screenshot opportunities for storytelling, and couldn't get any because of this glitch.
@EA_Cade Please, can you give us some news about this bug ? It is not mentioned in the laundry list and we are almost 300 to wait for a fix. We know you are working on it but we just want some news. Thank you so much
In the last news update from today the sims mentioned the bugs dedicated team is doing an update every two months. Let's hope it will be fixed in the next in november 🤞🏻
