The last time i tried Save as, the previous times the game deleted my safe files, i used the save option.
right now i do not have the load option available. When i made a new character again and clicked the load button, only the new character and her save file showed up.
I still have my old save from a day ago (which got deleted in game), it's still in the save folder.
Try placing the Sim into a house then and then go back to the main menu. You should now have your load button back.
See if you can then load the game.
The only save game I could load, was the one I just created to get the load button back.
But I think I found the issue this time. I created a folder for my sim family within the save folder and the game couldn't recognize them. So, I put the save data out of the custom made folder and it's working again. Now I have a backup file, just in case the game deletes my save games again.
