I will try this on mine but I don't think that's my issue. I can't find the sim profiles at all.

I only replied on this one as I am hoping that the trait mods that I have are the issue and following what you have said will work.

This has seemed to fix my issue so far. Ill keep playing to see if the issue pops up again. But removing trait mods worked. 

I have the same issue ... I don't have any trait mods installed, however, the sim profile option won't show up when I click on a sim in the relationship panel.

i have a similar issue with my game, but i'm not able to see the option 'Show profile' at all. The funny thing is when i select a dog in my family, then the option is there. 🐶

I removed all of the custom traits in my mods-folder but nothing has changed. I updated some of the script mods and am still looking for the culpit. Any idea which mod it could be? I have MCCC, [snip, removed names of NSFW mods] (all updated so far) some of KawaiiStacies and LittleMsSam, Lumpinou, Arnies Brookheights 0.41 and some smaller mods. What about aspirations?

I would appreciate every little hint.

Maybe this can be of some help, so for me it was Brookheights BETA 0.41 by Arnie. The rest of my mods is working just fine.

Does that mean we can't use custom traits anymore, or do we just have to redownload them?

Profile Not Working/Responding

I have Sims 4 loaded on two different computers. Both have identical mod folders. Computer A has a great deal more tray files than Computer B.

Computer A is a Win 10 machine.

Computer B is a Win 8 machine.

Computer A started malfunctioning only a couple hours ago. Otherwise, all was fine. Tried again. Worked for two different sims. When activated with a third sim, only a name and a blank screen. When activated with a fourth sim, nothing worked.

Computer B had no malfunction. I went through the entire family of 8 persons. The profile worked every single time.

Ran RegHunter to find any anomalies. Normal stuff.

Repaired game on Computer B. Profile worked until the sixth Sim in the family of six.

Computer A: Family 1 has six persons. The profile works until the sixth member, a high schooler is selected. Family 2 has two active adults. Profile worked fine with several of their acquaintances. Family 3 has four members. First two Sims, no problem. Third Sim: problem. Family 4 has three Sims, but the Profile does not work. Thus, once it does not work for one Sim, Profile is “dead” for the entire game.

Removed the entire Tray file from Computer A and replaced it with the entire Tray file from Computer B. This was to determine if any recently downloaded Sims were causing problems.  Computer A has 9,081 files; Computer B has 5,270 files.

There was no affected change. The Profile stopped working when the high schooler from Family 1 tried to open the Profile on two new NPC Sims he had just met.

Opened Family 5 (4 persons). Profile worked well. Returned to Family 1. I ran a Profile on every Sim in his Relationship folder except for the two newly introduced NPCs. However, I used the Grandfather to open a Profile on one of the NPCs, and it worked. However, when I returned to the high schooler, clicking on the same NPC as the Grandfather, the Profile malfunctioned.

I can only conclude that there is some kind of glitch with the high schooler.

BTW, I removed LittleMsSam’s Abortion and Miscarriage mods from Computer A but not from Computer B. I don’t believe LittleMsSam’s mods in this case are causing the problem.

Does this apply to custom reward traits as well?

I am having this issue, removed all mods, and repaired game, still having this issue.

I am having this issue and have never had mods. I repaired the game and still have problems with the profiles being completely broken. When I click on a known sim the profile either doesn't open and the loading screen music plays leaving me to play the sims as normal without any popup or the popup comes with just the traits and nothing else. Sometimes the popup will happen sometimes it won't but the traits are the only thing on it when it does happen. Again, I have never had any mods in this game and repaired it twice.

I went in offline mode like another player suggested and the profiles work fine when offline. I guess for now I can switch to online when I need to use the gallery and then back offline. But its still a huge issue.

I have been having this issue as well. All of my mods are up to date and I don't have any mods that people on here are suggesting that are the cause of the problem. I did what some people are suggesting to do and that is to go offline.

It worked. So I'm led to believe it's, once again, a bug. For me, there is no other explanation. Though I'm sure it will never be fixed, because let's face it, it won't.

This just started happening to me after the latest update. Nothing happens when I click ‘open profile’ in the relationship panel and all I hear is loading music. It was working fine when I started the game about two hours ago then all of a sudden it stopped working.

The only mod I have is MCCC. I will try remove it and see what happens.

Same here. I've been having the issue for months. All of my mods are updated, only have four of them. I've taken all my mods out, done a clean install and started a new save. The profile will open for me just once and then after a few minutes of game play, it no longer opens. I've tried it with multiple families, different saves, it's the same thing.

I recently tried offline mode and it did the same thing. The profile opened once and then it wouldn't open again.

I'm not really sure why this happens. After Snow Escape the sentiments profile worked perfectly for me. It didn't stop working for me until a few patches ago.

As stated I have no trait mods of any kind and even with a new save with no mods, the profiles stop working.

I hope it'll get fixed in a patch at some point but idk if enough people have this issue or if I'm just unlucky.
