@realjarlfrank I have a similar problem, I downloaded it on steam I didn't play and tried to install a dlc (when it apapeared saying that link2ea was needed) I saw people saying that need to unistall the origin but I don´t have installed on my pc (I don't have an origin account either)
I keep reinstalling the EA app origins as people say that's what fixes it but it never works the setup file for origin for me continues to never open unlike other apps such as discord of which their setup downloads actually function. need advice.
Omg I have had the same issue that that person was having. And I can confirm that when I tried to download origin on my computer it wouldn’t work. It’s really confusing and I have no clue how to do it. I bought the sims 4 through steam because origin wouldn’t let me buy it for some reason. And now when I try to download origin it doesn’t work. I just want to play this game ☹️
