When you removed your CC, did you delete the localthumbcache.package in The Sims 4 folder? If it happens in a new folder I'll be glad to help you troubleshoot, otherwise I think your mods and CC needs to be weeded through and updated.

Here is how to make a new folder. Don't move anything back before you have started a new savegame and character in CAS, and played around with them for a while.
