@puzzlezaddict hello, thank you for your response. since my first post i removed all my mods/cc temporarily and played for a while in a new save file, and it didn't happen for about an entire sim day, so I'm assuming the problem is with the mods/cc. I removed different mods/cc whilst reopening and playing my current save file over and over but it still kept happening - only about 2 sim hours will pass before the problem happens. I removed mc command center, pose player, script mods, and custom content, all at different times but it kept happening. I also checked last exception and removed the mod in the exception as I thought that may be causing it, but it still kept happening.

I have also attached the DxDiag to this post

@lilbmont  How does your current save run with no mods or custom content present at all?  Please test even if you have no intention of playing forward that way.

Your laptop's graphics driver is also somewhat old.  I'm not sure whether HP offers a new one for your computer, although I would hope so.  To check, please go here:

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops

Enter your serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 10 is fine) if prompted, and you'll land on the driver download page for your laptop.  You may need to click "Expand" or "See all drivers" or similar to see the full list.  Please don't just let HP check for newer drivers; I'd like to know specifically whether there's a new graphics driver, something from Intel under Driver-Graphics of course, with a newer version number than the one you currently have installed.  Its version number is this:

    27.20.0100.9664

Driver versions can be a bit convoluted, but anything that starts with a higher number than 27 would be newer.  If you find one for Windows 10, download and install it, and restart your computer.

If you're not sure what you're looking at, feel free to link the driver download page here.  It doesn't contain any personal information or data about your own computer, just drivers for the overall model.

@puzzlezaddict , Hi, thank you for your response again. I tested that and it still did the same thing, however I haven't had much time to play sims since my last post so I didn't get time to go through every test possible. I didn't want to go through the hassle of downloading new graphics drivers etc (although I probably should lol) but now that I've had time to play, I tested playing with a different household in the same save file with all of my custom content and mods. It worked fine so I moved my current household into a new lot to see what would happen and it worked absolutely fine, the glitch stopped happening completely. I'm not sure why that happened, it wasn't the previous lot (that I downloaded from the gallery) as I've played with it a million times before and it's been fine, so I guess this was just a one-off thing. Thank you for all of your help!

I'll leave this post up just in case anyone else has the same issue in the future 🙂
