I was wondering which of these two would work better for playing the sims 4

@Xyph3rx These two laptops have the same available specs, and the two processors you can choose from have the same graphics chip. So from a Sims 4 standpoint, it looks like it wouldn't matter which model or which configuration you chose. As for the speed of that graphics chip, I don't have a lot of information about it, as it's somewhat new. But from what I can find, I'd expect that you could probably play Sims 4, all current packs included, on high graphics settings. Ultra might not be a good experience, although there would be no harm in trying.
I would suggest going to a store that has laptops on display, for example a Best Buy, and trying out 14" and 16" screens. There is a significant difference, and you might find that 14" is too small to be usable or 16" is to large to carry comfortably. When I was looking for my current laptop, I realized I couldn't handle a 14" screen even though my previous laptop was 15", but 16" was great.
