just making another post because none of the devs seem to acknowledge this as an actual issue with their game and blame it on drivers.

Since the New season i am getting this error too but alternately also the 0x887a0007 - DXGI_ERROR DEVICE_RESET error. They switch like on every Crash. I am running an AMD gpu and yes i have the latest driver, i even rolled back on 2 older stable driver(clean install) no i dont have overclocked, nothing you find online to fix it helps.
9 of 10 Crashes happen shortly before landing on the ground at the beginning of a game, 1 out of 10 is randonly when the game is going on (in case get that far)
- @StykxTV Same thing here, also running an AMD GPU, specifically an RX 580 8 GB, the crashes also happen to me mostly shortly before landing on the ground, almost 3/4ths of the way from drop ship to ground, I'd say 9/10 of them happen like that, the rest happen randomly, these crashes started for me and many others with the latest patch of season 13, it was almost a week or two before season 14 dropped, after season 14 tho I started to get these crashes not only while dropping or randomly walking around, I'd get them while loading into matches and out of matches too, it's extremely frustrating and hinders gameplay a lot, especially when sometimes I start the game up again and it's stuttery af and freezing every two seconds
@KiranuuI have a rx 580 8gb too but s13 was fine for me i didn't get a single error back then. It all startetd with s14. The 0007 Reset error even gave my PC a bluescreen twice but luckily not all the time. But i also have the stuttering like when I first start the game in the menu like for the first 5-10 seconds but then it was gone, didn't had that before either.
I know it is very Bad specially when you think about the Money people spend for battle pass and staff and not being able to play ranked because of - RP
And please EA don't say "try this setting or that setting" i have even seen people messing with the Regestry and thats a bit too far because the problem is on your (maybe amd's) side of the tableYeah if we can make sure this issue gets focused and fixed so I can play again. It is as everyone is saying not a driver issue but an issue directly from apex that needs to be looked at because it seems to be happening to mostly amd users. I have an Radeon 5700xt and have been getting this crash since the middle of season 13 and I never used to crash ever, and then this all of sudden started happening.
Stop with the stupid self diagnosis that are still being given to users, actually send it to the developers of the game so they can find the solution and I can get back to playing apex as well as the others being affected by this. Thank you!
Nothing we can do but wait so let's keep this up to date so they will notice and fix it.
I am also getting the device hung error with my 5700XT. I never had crashes like this until season 14. I have used DDU to clean my graphics drivers. I have stopped underclocking for Apex. I uninstalled and reinstalled Apex on steam. I have administration access for Apex yet I still crash. I have no idea why it is doing this.
SAME!! Since the mid season update probably 2 weeks before season 14 I started experiencing dxgi error device hung on my 5600 XT. I have never crashed before on apex. Over 15 individual EA help people on Twitter have tried to give me troubleshooting tips but it is 100% the game and Respawn needs to fix the engine or AMD needs to release a driver similar to how NVIDIA just did. I haven’t been able to play ranked all of season 14 so far because of this and it’s annoying. I’m at my wits end with it and we should keep this forum up to date so they fix it. They won’t even acknowledge the issue

i never had this problems since release, but season 14 is killing me. the game crashes every 10-15 minutesThe optimization of this game on PC is so bad...I keep getting this crash every time
To add to the annoyance of this crash, sometimes when it happens, my whole PC has audio input lag. Which even if I'm lucky enough to not have my PC crash, I then have to restart it anyway. Fun stuff 🙂
- @BowToTheArrow at least so much fun stuff then rolling back drivers,chipsets, runtimes and getting Bluescreens on top of that! ☹️
after 1 day without problems, every 10 minutes apex is crashing
@sntzdrMy rx580 keeps crashing with: New driver (clean install) 2 older driver (clean install), reinstalled chipset, reinstalled Microsoft c++, deleted and reinstalled anti cheat, deleted and reinstalled game, repaired game files, Windows System checks, clean boost, Administrator rights start up, pci-e Bus Change in bios and i dont know.. i just dont want to mess up my registry.
Nothing fixes this or the 0x887a0007 RESET error
I also have BSOD and AMD errorst with RX 580 8GB GPU. Seems like it affects at least the entire 580 line. Interestingly, it is not happening with other games, Spider-Man, ETS2, ATS, Fortnite, etc.

Same here, also RX 580 8 GB and a 6600m 8 GB (laptop GPU). Never happened before July, now on both devices.
It seems quite A LOT of AMD users have the same problem.
I'm using rx 570 ryzen 5 2600.
I tried every fix available and it did none!.
If theres no response by this september but they still working on new content, then we can assure that they want our money but not our satisfaction.
