what is your pc specs? did you try repair install in origin?

My PC Specs:

Motherboard: Asus Maximus Gene-Z

@Processor: i7 - 2700 @ 3.4Ghz

Ram: 2 x 4GB Corsair (8GB)

Graphics Card: Radeon 6950

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

And yes, I have tried that, I've even uninstalled the game then reinstalled it twice (once with the disk and the other time downloading it).

is your vga drivers up to date? maybe try reinstall origin...

How long did you wait trying to shut down your pc?

A good 15 minutes, the thing is it doesn't even say it's shutting down, everything just minimises and I can open anything.

After some troubleshooting, I have found that EA Core Server is the culprit, it refuses to be killed, any solutions?

could be problems with servers try later...

I think not, as this has been going on for weeks, but still, I will try as I really want this problem to be sorted out.

Thanks, but it said their live chat was offline, but I will keep an eye on it as I really want to play BF3! I'm not wasting my money.
