Press the windows buttone+r> type Services.msc>find PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB> right click them and press STOP.> close services tab>press windows button+r> type Regedit> press enter>

(press the arrow to the left of the folder to drop down them)

Drop down HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>Find the PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB folders>right click> delete both> exit regedit>restart pc(its a pain but otherwise this wont work)>dl this file http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe > open it and press install>this fixed it for me I hop it helps you.
