Whos stupid idea was this to require a HDD on the X360 for a 2GB UPDATE!?! THANKS EA!? I only spent 60 bucks for plastic i can`t play now. I love bending over for stupid desicions like this! If it isn`t Activision it`s EA ☹️ So since i`m supposed to ask a question here it is..: Since i can`t play BF4 on my 4gb slim and refunding this POS is redundant, what EA employee that made this stupid idea can i throw my copy at??? But i digress, i`m reading the other problems that are happening to other people and i sympithize for y`all ☹️ When BF5 comes out i`m going to just buy a case of booze instead. This is the future everyone, sick and tired of it yet?
3This is such bull. The case says it needs 2G. I spoke to someone last night and they said you need 30G. Also have the same 4G XBOX and they said I have to go buy a hard drive to play. EA is such a fraud. They sold millions of dollars of product knowing they would not work. They never advertised this problem. So they stole our money. Maybe if someone out there is a lawyer, perhaps a class action lawsuit is in order.
This is by far the poorest example of piss poor business practice and the quickest way to alienate your former loyal fans. Oh sure you put it in tiny little writing on the back which isn't noticed till after you open the box and find out I just got screwed without lube. What is the point of console game units if you are making it a PC game. Give us the option of installing for better performance but don't make it the only course of action. So I have a better idea.... I'll trade it in and get my thirty from gamestop, never go there again, add the hundred, and use it to buy a PS4 ...I've been an xbox owner only up until this very day. I'll be sure to spread the word through every social media out there. How did you expect us to think the four gigs we have would not be acceptable when we used it for your bf3 added maps. No other game has ever done this and you switch up the rules and sleep easy because it's in the fine print. You guys have obviously gotten too big for your britches and feel you can do whatever because we'll keep buying....Because that hasn't hurt companies before, blackberry, nokia, atari, packard bell, ....how bout just software companies...3d realms, blizzard creations, core design, eidos interactive, hasbro, id software (the original 3d game makers of doom), lucasarts, pandemic (oh you know that already since yall closed them out), THQ, etc.....I've been an ea fan since command and conquer days....In one day of your greed, I'm out. Take a look at that list above and keep thinking you are untouchable, now I'm gonna copy and paste this on twitter, fb, Google plus and my emails to my fellow gamers so maybe someone else what get it in the a** from you or microsoft.

Im so glad I ordered this game only to find out I can't even play it. First off, this whole internal external hard drive crap is ridiculous, what ever happened to putting the game in the console and playing it. Second, two discs? Really two discs, one for multiplayer and one for campaign. When did you guys become terrible at making video games? I absolutely loved playing Battlefield bad company, I haven't purchased a game since call of duty black ops, I chose this game because I enjoyed bad company so much. Thanks for the HUGE waste of time, I now have to return it, by mail which I might add because I can't piss away another 30 bucks for an external hard drive. I cannot express how pissed off I am right now, you can count on one less customer from now on, and from what I can tell, Im probably not the first or last to make that decision.
So does this mean EA is going to reimburse me the $60 that I just spent on this stupid game because some idiot that works for you came up with this idiotic idea? Because of this dumbass, my son can not play this game that he got for Christmas. I can't take the game back because he has already opened it. What an infiriating business practice to produce a product that does not work with a segment of your customer base. My middle school son saved his money to buy your inferior product and was so excited when it was delivered. After encountering this problem, we were disappointed to learn that it basically will not work on the system that we own that it was designed to work for.
My hope is that darwinian economics will cull your business from the marketplace. Because any enterprise that produces this kind of idiocy and con game doesn't deserve to survive. Our operating model from now on is to apprach any game produced by EA with extreme caution. BUYER BEWARE! Gamers, speak to EA with your wallets, because that is apparently the only language they understand.
Kiss off. Your obligated to say it has to be the $130 drive to use the game. It's false advertising to do anything else. BF4 is the only friggen game I've had this problem with. Doesn't recognize the internal memory that came with the xbox from Microsoft. Forcing people to buy an additional drive at the tune of $130 just to play. You don't fix the problem and it will be the last EA product I'll ever buy. You only have to make a patch to fix it. I'll be looking into the legal area of false advertising and making people have to buy something else to use it after the false info on the game. COD Ghost says the same thing word for word on the drive info and works with the internal memory that came in it. What's your excuse?

I just looked at the game cover again to make sure and yes it's false advertising. Say it works on Xbox 360. Doesn't say anywhere on it that it is only for the 360 with an internal hard drive. I knew there was a reason I stopped buying this garbage and went only with COD, but my sons wanted BF4 for Christmas. Now they have a gift I have to explain as you have it but can't play it because they want to force you to buy a $130 accessory to use it. EA is garbage!!!
The reason I prefer console to pc is because its much more convenient. Put the disc in the console and play the game. But now for the first time in over 30 years of gaming, I put the disc in and...what? Must have a proper HD to download content. Well, I have a proper xbox. It has an internal HD...no wait, now I'm told that it isn't technically a HD, it is an internal flash drive. Well excuse me! It says on the back of the game that you must have 2 gb of HD space available for the game to work. Like I said, I've been buying games for over 30 years. I was buying games for the commodore 64 when most of you weren't even thought of.lol. There is nothing on the back of that game to suggest that a 4gb machine won't play it.Period. I bought mine from Future Shop and they took it back with no questions asked. Even after it was opened. Kudos to them. But EA or Microsoft or Dice or whoever best get their **** together and state CLEARLY on the game that a 4 gb machine will not work with this game. Leaving it as it is...Criminal. Plain and simple. Used to be a PS guy. Switched to 360 cause my buddies had it. I've gone through 3 360 consoles in the last 6 years. Garbage.
Tired of buying xbox's crap. Fisher Price controllers, Battery packs that don't last. The price for a wireless controller hasn't dropped one bit since the 360 came out!! Still $60.00. What a joke.
I'll be seriously trying to convince my fellow gamers to switch to the PS4 instead of xbox one. I'll gladly play Killzone again. I'm sure BF4 is a great game but this has been the last straw for this cat. Money's too hard to come by to be pi**ing it away.
