Battlefield 2 doesn't work
I have no idea why no battlefield 2 but here I go.
I recently updated my video card (GTX 560 Ti) to the most up-to-date drivers but the game Battlefield 2 doesn't work. I get the screen to go black like usual but then nothing. I have update 1.50 for it. I have very little money so I play old games and this was a Christmas present. I like how all the really old games (1980-1999) still work.
Can you help me getting the game back to working?

I contacted nvidia and they said the following and Battlefield2 now works:

The Debug assertion failed error message occurs if there is an issue with the game profile.
To further troubleshoot the issue, please try editing video.con file which is in C:\Users\*YOU*\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001
Make sure resolution or refresh rate is not above your screens top.
