You should notice the "Through the course of your multiplayer career".
That's really bad wording. It reads that they're explaining what battlepacks are because it is true that over time you get them. So there's really 2 problems with the wording here. First would be what we're talking about here. They don't specifically say that you're getting 12 battlepacks spread out over the course of a year. It says you're getting 12 bonus battlepacks and describes what battlepacks are. The second problem is the last sentence. It says "Pre-order Battlefield 4 Premium Membership to get 12 bonus Battlepacks." This seems a bit contradictory. Does this mean preordering premium means you get the 12 battlepacks, but getting premium after the game is released means you miss out on these? Or does it mean you get an additional 12 battlepacks meaning you'd get 24 total?
The wording definitely needs to be updated to clearly reflect what their intention with it was, because I had a totally different impression of what I was buying.
There are also three premium battlepacks that you should get when you buy premium, and I had the same problem. I bought premium about two hours ago, and I have been trying to figure out why I didnt get any battlepacks. But when I returned I had the battlepacks! So the solution on this problem is probably just to wait it out. At least I did, and I got them at last.
