Re: Why my ping high to Singapore server

We don't know why your latency is a bit higher (yet) 🙂

But if you would like us to investigate this a bit further, feel free to post a tracert and pathping log to the Battlefield server you are playing on. This will allow us to take a look at the connection between you and the server. You can find the server ip at the server details page over at Battlelog, or for console servers it should be available via the details window.

Press Windows Key + R and type in "cmd". This will open a command window, please type in tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (please replace xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with the server IP address)

After the trace has finished right-click into the window and select mark, mark the full log and right-click again. This will save the marked text into your clipboard, you can now add it to your reply by pressing Ctrl + V.

In the same cmd window, enter pathping -n xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx for the pathping log. This may take up to a few minutes, please wait until it's finished completely.

Mark and paste it into your reply as well.

    Sorry for not replying earlier.

If you take a look at your tracert, you will see that your ping is already quite high when reaching the first hop after your local network:

     2   151 ms   127 ms   108 ms  175.137.109.206

This hop is basically your first step into the internet and is based within your ISP's network. Please get in touch with your ISP regarding your increased latency and they might be able to look into this for you.
