Re: VOIP is coming through my speakers, not my headset.

It's been suggested that the solution is to disable drivers for audio devices not in use - Specifically Nvidia audio drivers. In my case there were two Nvidia audio device drivers plus the motherboard audio device that were not in use. I've disabled all of those and left my main audio interface and my headset.

Now it's so damn rare to find anyone in BF1 actually using a headset that I have not been able to test to see if this is working. If anyone else is able to test and confirm, please let us know.

To those who keep asking which platform we are playing on - it's PC. YOu can tell because we're talking about things like drivers and default playback devices. Try to keep up.

Disabling and removing drivers actually didn't work in my case, but I do have it working now.

I have a Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset. I left the hardware driver installed but I uninstalled the Corsair control software with the graphic EQ, fake surround sound, etc. I won't miss it.

Unfortunately I have no idea if this will work for anyone else with any other setup. I e-mailed Corsair support via their atrocious website and contact form, and I received an automated response relating to a completely different product and the recommendation that I replace the batteries. Useless.

    Hey @GlorifiedBicycle,

thanks for coming back and sharing that solution, that might help other players coming across that issue.

Hopefully it is still all good and you can enjoy proper sound via your headset. See you on the Battlefield!

Just a quick little thing that may be a little helpful to anyone who runs into this problem.
In Origin menus there is an audio menu, and on that menu there is speaker mic volumes, turn your audio option to headset rather than speakers.
Idk if someone already suggested this so I hope i'm not sending an already suggested option
