Re: [PS3] [BF3] Freezing and crashing

i know this is frustrating, and isn't handy at all when you're playing games like 500% conquest and this happens at a crucial time

this is a widely known problem , i for instance have the same on Operation Metro , but the developpers are now focussed on bringing the best out of Battlefield 4 and patch support for Battlefield 3 is not one of their top priorities these days

i'm sorry to break the news, but , these are problems that probably won't get fixed. All you can do is hope for the best that the game doesn't freeze mid game

    Try this 

    1. Turn off Playstation 3.
    2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.
    3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
    4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
    5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
    6. The Recovery menu will pop up.
    7. Select Restore File System.

    This will delete any corrupt files off of your system. It won't delete any game data.

    Hey man, I appreciate the help but I tried your thing and it still freezes on some loading screens before a match.

    Above is a picture on what it freezed on when I launched a Caspian Border game.

    I tried this and my ps3 got a green tint and I can't find a way to fix it.

    Any suggestions
