VSYNC Stutter Fix Guide - AMD

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955065219565958716/last/post_2955065219566238652

First off this solution is of course aimed at those with AMD cards since the software used does not inherently support Nvidia.

The Problem:
Whenever I turn on vsync there seems to be dropped frames / skipped frames. The input it self is smooth and is not lagging but the picture rendered is not smooth at all.

The things I tried:
-Drivers: 13.11 beta6/7/8/9.2
-Disabling Hyperthreading
-Disabling any Power Saving features
-Overclocking/no overclocking of Processor, Memory and Graphic cards
-Windows Aero ON/OFF
-"Run as administrator"
-Crossfire enabled/disabled with 2/3 cards and single card
-Mouse RAW input ON/OFF, different DPI etc
-All possible combinations of ingame image quality settings and resolution: Low/Med/High/Ultra, Resolution scale 0-100%, Weapon DOF etc

My system:
-Motherboard | Rampage IV Formula x79 s2011
-Processor | i7 3820 (Hyper Threading OFF)
-RAM | 32gb 1600MHz CAS 7 RAM
-Graphic Card | 3x HD7970 (3way crossfire Enabled)
-Audio | Onboard X-FI MB2 (Using Headphones)
-Network Controller | Intel 82579V Gigabit
-Storage | Samsung EVO 120gb (System drive)-(AHCI)
-Storage | Samsung EVO 240gb (Battlefield 4 drive)-(AHCI)

-Monitor | Samsung Syncmaster 305T Plus (2560x1600)
-Mouse | Razer Deathadder 3500
-Keyboard | Logitech Ultra X Premium
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

The Solution: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyx3onugdnldsgu/bf4.jpg [dropbox.com]

1- Go to http://www.radeonpro.info/download/ [radeonpro.info]
2- Click the download button to download RadeonPro. Install and run the software
3- Click the SETTINGS button in RadeonPro
4- Make sure the checkbox for "Disable 64-bit Support" is UNCHECKED
5- Verify RadeonPro is running with 64-bit support by opening Windows Task Manager. There should 2 services running from RadeonPro (RadeonPro.exe*32 & RadeonPro64.exe)
6- Click the NEW PROFILE button and browse to where you have Battlefield 4 installed. Select the file "bf4.exe" in your battlefield 4 folder.
7- click the TWEAKS tab in RadeonPro and select DYNAMIC in the dropdown for VSYNC CONTROL.

Turn off ingame VSYNC and now you are all set. Hope this helped you aswell

It is good if you want to share your experience and workarounds for the Answer HQ community. In fact, we are exactly the right place to do so. I just added your content from battlelog to your post,  people most likely don't want to jump on different website and it is always better to post details and not just a link.

    Thanks for your workaround!
