Shotgun's & Sniper's

I'm on Xbox One.

I assume after the update, I'm now not able to use any shotgun's or sniper's.  ** I can USE them, but the fire does not work on them.  **  I can pull the right trigger and it works for every single weapon or accessories.  I can pull a claymore out and place it with the right rigger, I can shoot secondary weapons, I can fire launcher's and pretty much anything else I can think of.  When I have a sniper or a shogun as my primary weapon, I get no response from it.  I can pull the trigger 30 times or more and only fire 2 shots maybe if any.  I switch to an LMG I can switch between single, burst or automatic and works perfectly fine.  I assumed it was my controller, but every game I play works fine.  I Googled it and notice there is a couple other people who have had the same problem, but they were on PC.  I would like to purchase the dlc's, but when a product is as rough as this is.... I don't think so.  I would love a quick response, but appreciate if I get one at all.
