Banned from the forums - No reason given.

Hi everybody,


Last monday i got an one week suspension from the battlelog forums, now I accepted the ban but I wanted to know why i was banned so I dont make the same mistake again. My "mistake" isnt appearently that obvious since I re-read a lot of my posts and none of them was blanked by the admins nor in violation with the ToS. 

First I wrote an email to "account [edit: email address removed]", after 3 Days getting no answer i tried the live chat but they just redirected me to the telephone service which redirected me again to account disputes. Wrote another Email then (in german this time since the service hotline advised me to do). After a while when I relaised that I wont get an answer I tried to message EA_Rick but appearently I cant sent anyone private messages with my account so a Friend did it for me. Well, he couldnt help me either so I wrote a another Email to account dispustes. 

 

Ban will be relived today but not that keen on getting randomly banned again and I would really appreciate if some offical can shed some light on this case.

    Answers HQ cannot do anything about bans because we are a public forum and can’t do anything account management related..

    As long as you obey the TOS you wont be banned again, pretty simple. Dont make any bad forum posts, statuses, or have anything ban worthy on your profile and you will be safe.

    He basically said what i already did @Attaboy224 

    You can email accountdisputes@ea.com for more information about it but you wont get a reply anytime soon since that email is so clogged up with messages and it takes a long time to review each case.

    *edit, they don't always censor posts when people get suspended. How long was the ban anyways? If it was more than a week it was a pretty bad thing you may have posted.

    Its exact one week but the ban lenght isnt the problem or my appeal to it. I want to know the reason so it doesnt happen again. None of my last posts were in violated with the ToS as far as i can see it.

    @Attaboy224 Your best bet is to pm an EA admin on here, not a battlelog mod but someone with an ea_username. They can give you more information.
