Re: Re: Official Battlefield 4 System Requirements

USD and NZD are pretty close it looks like but I dunno how much components cost over there... I've heard it's much more expensive in austrialia...

I'd go with an Intel CPU.. to save money Xenon 1230v3 is $80USD cheaper than a 4770.... and it's a clone of a 4770 without the iGPU you won't be using anyways (if you stream yourself you might consider the iGPU for quicksync).  If you want to overclock i5 4690k is in same price range ($220~250$ USD) you also would need a decent aftermarket cooler ($30USD and up).

Decent motherboard... I look for Intel Network port... fancy sound chips are nice some have better front panel audio... the style/function of the bios (found from reviews)... if your overclocking you want one that is designed for it.  In USD that'd cost ~100$-$150 for something pretty nice.

Get the biggest darn GPU you can afford...

You can get a cheaper CPU if the price lets you go up a series in GPUs... at that point it'd be better in BF4 to go with an AMD card as Mantle shines when the CPU is weak.

** I have a feeling even though USD and NZD have close exchange rate... prices for parts in your area are rediculess ☹️ ☹️ sorry man

AMD CPU + nVidia GPU... It isn't a system I'd buy... I'd do any other combination though.  AMD + AMD, Intel + AMD, Intel + nVidia.  It shouldn't be a problem... but it is not a system I'd consider because that's me.  Seen problems specific with frostbite games and setups like this that I haven't seen have a solution.  I don't look at BF4 forums to often no clue if it has similiar errors as BF:H and PvZ seem to have.

Mantel has been giving issues in BF4 and most memory leaks are on AMD cards in BF4 and thank you Woot for posting 😕mileyhappy:
