Game was working fine until the update a few weeks ago. Now it crashes on launch. No error message, just straight to desktop. Given all the crazy testing and different configuring of settings on our ends I'm 100% convinced that the update broke something.
It's frankly ridiculous that we can't play a game that we paid for.

@Lordscalliwag Today october 3 2019 there should be a large patch available within a few hours that might help. Also If you use an Nvidia GPU there is a hotfix for CTD's of various games that might also affect BFV. If all of these offer no solution please report back and include: system specs, Windows version, GPU driver version and whats been tried so far to fix the issue?
Same issue. ;S
same, i play earlier today but now the game doesn't launch

What exactly happens when you try to launch the game and have you tried some basic steps like restarting the PC and checking for Windows updates?
hello BlueBerry
I tell you that yesterday after upgrading to the last battlefield patch. When I opened the game, it crashes and puts the screen in black and after 2 minutes the pc restarts alone. Today I perform a clean installation of windows thinking that it had some malware, but now it doesn't even open the game. Already validate the health of the BT5 installation and this ok. Also change the hard disk and it continues to fail. I also followed a procedure that I was sent from EA support and I still can't access BT5. Now I'm trying to perform a clean installation of BT5 but it also fails.
Sorry For my English.
Regards
I was able to fix my problem. I have an ati radeon rx580 and had the latest update of ati catalyst 19.9.3. This last update generated the problem on the pc. I put the yversion of ati catalyst 18.8.2 and problem solved.

Your AMD GPU driver is from 2018, can you try updating it real quick to see if that helps get you to successfully launch the game?
AMD Drivers
Yes, I tried the tip from the guy above me but the aktual Amd Driver 19. 9.2 and 19.9. 3 also didn't work.
