    Hi @Erik94939

Make sure Time/Date is correctly set in your machine.

    Clear DNS cache https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/

    Clear the browser cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clearing-your-browsers-cache

    Clear hosts file http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

    Restart your machine.

    Run Origin as Adminstrator.

Go in Origin / My Game Libary, right click on game icon select Repair and Update Game.

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).

  • This does not work any of it

    Still can't connect

I have deleted and reinstalled 5 times, will only let me play single player

    what a waste of $80

  • got the game, had issues logging into the EA servers. After 2 days of hell, talking with EA support and getting a band-aid fix, I was able to play for a day with no issues, then wham... next day tried logging in and the same issue. failure to connect to the EA servers try again. I want a refund but thats out of the question. This is a freaking joke on us that purchased the game. I have been on all the social media's telling people not to get this game. I have never seen such a cluster * on a game. I so regret not researching the game before I bought it.

I have had the same issues and am on PS4. Have tried all of the “solutions” and for the first time am disappointed in battlefield can’t believe this still isn’t fixed

  • Well I am also having the same problem and I think I have an important update.

As an IT consultant I have 2 Internet suppliers for my house. I have Sky. When I connect to game with sky and use the auto join then 9/10 times it will connect to a game. Its a 70MB line and so it plenty quick enough.

I have a Virgin Line which I use for business. This is a 300MB line and is lightening quick. If I use the autojoin on the faster line then I get the latency error message and I am disconnected to the game pretty much every time.

However, If I go to advanced options, search for a server and join manually, I can pretty much connect 9/10 times.

This game is the only game that has had an issue with the Virgin line. (This PC btw, but I play on X1X, PS4 and Switch on the Virgin line with no problems.

This could be a red herring, but so far the advanced join is working for me.

  • Not solved. I tried everything on the EA cannot connect page and it still happens. I get disconnected in the middle of a round. The problem started on Tuesday and has been there ever since. I have not been able to complete a single round since then.

The same thing has happened with me. I was able to play during the entire beta but became unable during the third day of playing. I do not believe the game is a waste of money but, I paid and I am going to need to find a way to play.
  • Well this solved a 4 month mystery for the time being. I am sad it took that long EA just seemed to not really care! So thanks for this!
  • Hi, how is this solved? I bought the Basic origin access and I can only play singleplayer. I get a message that my EA account is not linked to online features.. what a joke. I own BF1 and can play that fine.

I contacted mt ISP as i got nowhere with EA,

They changed a setting on my connection and tool me OFF the CGNAT as I was put on it.

This appears to have fixed the issue but still yet to log in more for sure.

(I also did all the port forwarding, diagnosing, turning off and on etc...)

Oh and FYI... the UOTrace must only work for USA, I went from average connection to BELOW average, similar ping.. and yet I can connect fast as now?!?!?!

    Dont trust it.

    Hey, @BBqBossManMUGS

This post was created a year ago and connectivity issues to our servers tend to be temporary, so we recommend finding a newer post in the last week for connection related issues. There are standardized error messages for connectivity issues so you could still see the same message throughout the game's cycle, but the actual cause of the connectivity issue can vary one instance to the other (ISP outage, EA server outage, DNS down, etc.).

We had some connectivity issues over the weekend but it should be resolved now. Try rebooting your network and restart your PC/Console and then try launching the game again. We have basic connection steps below we recommend going through first before searching our boards.

Still can't connect after all the steps? Check EA Help on Twitter to see if there is an outage prior to contacting our Live-Support team for further technical assistance.
