i found a fix and its been working good so far 2 hr and still going.
so u gonna need to download the logitech software and in the settings -> Generals- uncheck allow games to control illumination

When I've been playing bf1 my G9x profile light / dpi light has been changing to like a faded purple/grey color, not a profile I made. it would switch by itself. (AND this is with onboard profiles//haven't tried bf1 with saved profile)
I hope this fixes it,
Looking at the logitech pro mouse at the moment, Had my G9x since may 2013, the wheel is starting to go / get flimsy.anyways, good luck.
