Re: Can't connect to EA servers on ps4

I redid my PS+ subscription about a month ago and as i say, online features are working in other games like normal. 

I had been about to update my earlier post, after about 20 minutes of sitting on the menu and trying online features occasionally it did actually connect to the EA servers out the blue, even if it was quite slow, and I was able to play a couple of games online. This would suggest that my EA account is still linked correctly to my PSN id.

A couple of hours later when I tried to go in again however, I was faced with exactly the same problem, just as it has happened everytime I have opened the game in the last few days. I didn't change anything my end apart from downloading the naval strike expansion when it was free on sale so I assume it must be a problem at EA's end.

Any solution would be very much appreciated as I can't really play the game at the moment.

I'm having the same issue on PS4. When i try to connect to the BF4 servers it says that I've lost connection to the server, and when I try to connect to Battlefront it says I'm not connected to the PSN. I can still play other games just fine, it's only EA games that I'm having a problem with.

I don't understand the thing with the ports, but everything else is fine on my PS4. I've put over 1,000 hours into this game on the same system but now all of a sudden as of 2 days ago it won't work.

I forwarded all the ports and it's still not working.

 @EA_Kristi I think I did it right at least.

@Im_Fat_42O69 Strange! Did you also log in on Origin.com with your EA account to make sure everything us synced properly?

Also if you are using wireless connection, could you check if the same issue occurs if you set up wired connection? Restarting both your PS4 and router may also help with connection issues.

@EA_Kristi Nothing is working. The only thing being affected right now are the games I own with an EA account. Everything else is working fine on my PS4. It's gotta be something with my account. This all started the night before last.

@Im_Fat_42O69 In this case, please contact an Advisor as they should be able to check your account: 

1. Click on the following link: http://help.ea.com/ (once there make sure that your country is correctly selected in top left hand corner of Help.EA.com)
2. Make sure you are logged in (top right corner) and select 'Help with Game'
3. Find the affected game (if it's an account issue select Origin)
4. Select 'Contact Us' at the bottom right on the new page
5. Select your platform and then 'Next' 
6. Select topic from the drop down menus, type in a short description of your issue and select 'Next'.
7. Select a contact option. Please note that available contact options do depend on your country settings and time of day.

what exactly is it you're trying to do - I think you're trying to connect your console account to your EA account, is that it?

If so, are you able to play any EA game online on your console? What exactly is not working as expected?

you've probably given up on this or fixed it by now but I was having the same issues and it turned out my date was set to 2099 and that was why it wasn't working. reset my date and time and it works now

could you go into more detail when exactly you are getting an error and also call out the exact error message?
