It's definitely possible on PC. There are multiple 3rd party programs that are capable of doing that, with Fraps and Nvidia's Shadowplay being an example.

Other than that, there are two methods, each with its downsides. Here is the first one:

  • Press the tilde (~) key
  • Type the command screenshot.render and hit enter
  • Hit tilde again to close the console

After following these steps, your screenshot will be saved in the following directory: C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Battlefield 1\Screenshots.

The obvious downside is that this method is very slow and doesn't work for situations where you need to react quickly.

The other option is to play in windowed mode and use the basic Windows image capture (Print Screen). Windowed mode can be uncomfortable for many players though.

    what key would you hit to take screenshots once I do the tilde command?

  • You have to write in screenshot.render and then press Enter. Still, I would recommend downloading a 3rd party program just because it is a way easier and more versatile solution (Shadowplay in particular).
